Manage Not NAP capable device RRS feed

  • Question

  •

    Hi all,

I want to deploy NAP in my firms, but I have a big problem.

How I manage my all devices if they are not NAP capable in NAP DHCP strategy??

For my device, it's impossible to me to fix my devices in IP fix or DHCP reservations because security rules in my firms d'ont want that.

    Thanks for your help

  • Hi,

You can make a network policy that matches non-NAP capable devices, and configure it to "Allow full access." The non-NAP capable policy is created for you by the NAP configuration wizard - you just need to choose to allow full access on the settings tab in the policy.

    I hope this helps.

  • You can exempt a series of MAC addresses using regular expressions in the Network Policy Server (NPS) console.
