client latitude not booting RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a new client model from dell the latitude 5590, but the problem that arises is more often a problem that is: driver not loading.

We have in MDT2013 a outofthebox driver folder where i load new drivers everytime a new model is come out. Also downloading winpe 10 cabinet drivers for in the winpe64 folder in MDT these are the winpe booting drivers.

Now when booting the latitude 5590 the booting process is started getting a ipadres from the server and the task sequence arrivés, choosing a operating system  to deploy and then the deployment starts, however when windows is trying to boot it says:

WDSCLIENT An error occured when starting networking a matching networkcard driver was not found

Does this mean the winpe driver is not correct for this networkcard or the other drivers in the outofthebox driver folder?

  • Hi,

the boot.wim connects the device with your Deploymentshare.

If you can choose your Taskseqeunce etc. the job is done.

I think your outofthebox driver is missing.

    1.  I recommend:

Install a blank Operating System (from disc,USB etc. ) and install/update the drivers.

Install the OS with MDT and check the devicemanager

In the best caye, your done now

  • The issue is with your Out-of-box drivers.

Get your Dell drivers from here - Dell Command | Deploy - Driver Packs for Enterprise Client OS Deployment

If you aren't already doing this, I'd suggest using the Total Control method for injecting drivers during deployment. MDT 2013 Lite Touch Driver Management
