Networ drive disconnecting on Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Good day. I have a problem with windows 10. In our organization some computers are still working on windows 7 and some already on windows 10. We have a domain controller and a file server, both on windows server 2019. When working on windows 10 several times a day it happens that mapped drives network automatically disconnect and reconnect. It is so problematic that we have a program that bases its operation on network drives and when such a disconnection occurs, it loses contact with the database and you need to beat it and log in to it again. This is not an optimal solution, especially since it can lead to data loss. This problem does not appear on windows 7. This is also not associated with smb1 because currently we will not use it. But in the earlier configuration of the file server for windows 2012 r2 the configuration was from smb1 and this problem also occurred. Uploading the latest network card drivers or windows updates does not help. Turning off power management for network adapters by turning it off for power saving doesn't help either.
