Skype for Business 2013 not saving conversations to Outlook Conversation History folder RRS feed

  • Question

  • Just setup a new computer for a user but it has not been saving the Skype conversations. If I hover over the Conversation History button in Skype it displays an error message

'There are Exchange connectivity issues. You conversation history cannot be retrieved.'

    Another error message displays

'The Exchange server won't let us connect. We're working on fixing the connection. You history, voice mail and Outlook features might be unavailable or out-of-date until things are fixed.'

This is only affecting one user, no one else is receiving this error or these error messages.

    Thanks

  • You should check if DNS Resolution is working correct for thsi user. EWS will be used through autodiscover of the exchange web Services.

  • Hi Hunter_avo,

Moreover, please check if the issue occurs on other computer for this use, if it not, this should a client issue, I suggest you update both outlook and SFB first.

    Best regards
