Skype for Business is prompting the user for MFA multiple times a day on-prem desktop app RRS feed

  • I have a user who gets prompted for the MFA 2FA message about every couple of hours. This only occurs on Skype for business applications on Prem and does not happen for websites, outlook applications, or teams application.

    Essentially the checkbox option "Don't ask again for 30 days" is missing. So the user keeps approving the sign in over and over again and is not prompted to check this box. They were prompted on the other applications and also on the web. Not sure why they are not prompted when it comes to Skype for Business.

    How can I get the "Don't ask again for 30 days" checkbox to appear on this user's account? Also, does anyone know what causes this issue? We have about 1700 users and this has affected about 40 users.
