  • Question

  • Anyone having a problem with Outlook 2007 part of the office 2007 installation?  I did the installation and everything but Outlook runs fine.  When running Outlook I get a message stating:

"Cannot open your default e-mail folders.  You do not have sufficient permission to perform the operation on this object.  See the folder contact or your system administrator"...

When I try to add a new data folder from control panel mail, it give me a message "The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable".  I did run a checkdisk as it asked for that the first time.  It ran two times and cleared everything...

  • I have Office 2007 installed and Outlook ran jsut fine for me.  Seeing as how your eintire drive is corrupted i would only be able to suggest running chkdsk /r /f at this point to try and salvage your drive.

  • try running it in backward compatibility mode or something. that may work. afterall it is a beta. or try installing outlook without the other office applications. later on i'm going to put office 2003 on windows 7 and see how it goes....
