    Does anyone know of a tool that can spin through a document library, looking for urls within Word documents in a SP document library, and change those urls?  We are migrating sites to another server farm, and this migration will change the top level url names (for instance was https://foo/document%20lib/bar.doc  to https://someothername/...).  Manually changing the embedded links in the Word documents is not really a viable option due to the number of documents they have.  These documents link to other documents within the same site.

    Hi,
    I never seen such tool.
    Generally fix this with a dns alias and alternate access mappings.

    Use Pipe Tools 8). open up library via mapped drive, and pipe tools will search/replace..handles word, excel, PPT...sorry no PDF. Also, on the downside column, changes will update your last modified/modified by metadata...not good for change controlled docs but fine for everything else.
