  • Hi Alok,

Please find a reference below (for PS2010 but the principle is quite the same) :

  • If you could provide us with some more details around what you are trying to achieve we may be able to provide few alternatives or any other solution that may be available for similar kind of functionality

  • Actually I need to create Custom PDP's which I will use in Workflow stages and project creation. There are some out of the box PDP are available but they are not sufficient. I can create custom PDP from Library directly and put a basic info web part but I need to create PDP in InfoPath only.

If I am using  InfoPath as PDP then where and how this form will submit and populate the project related data.

  • I fear this is not supported by the infrastructure, as Project server is based on SharePoint infrastructure and hence leveraging the web part page model, all you could do is use the PDP webpart page and configure it to accommodate your needs

However what i am still not clear is why do you want infopath as PDP page, is there any specific requirement which you are not able to achieve using the OOB web part page model, if yes let us know the details and we can guide you, remember although PDP page might seem simple on top but there are several security and related stuff which works behind the scenes and even if infopath was feasible you would need to customize all of that
