how to create automatic back up for windows event log files RRS feed

    Hi,

    I have Server 2008 R2 servers and i want to back up windows event viewer log files once a week to another disk or partition.

    Is there anyone who did same task before?

    You could set the log retention to archive, then move the files off with some other backup process.
