Having issue with Trending Tags Web part "Tagging's been quiet lately. No trending tags right now." RRS feed

  • Hi All,

    Having issue with the "Trending Tags" web part. Nothing is displaying like the following screen shot.

  • Just adding the http:// and sps3:// with my site url in the Content source, it works like charm.

  • Hi Rakib1,

    From your description, the Trending tags web part doesn’t work properly.

    First, make sure the Managed Property Tags is mapping to the crawled property ows_taxId_MetadataAllTagsInfo and someone does use Tags.

    Then make sure that the URL of the MySite host is added to the content source as a Start Address.

    Also, you need to check if you add any crawl rules that will prevent the search from crawling conversations.

    After above, run a Full crawl in Search service application.
