  • Hi

You cannot monitor Windows Server 2012 with SCOM 2007 (any flavour).

    http://blogs.technet.com/b/momteam/archive/2012/09/05/windows-server-2012-system-center-operations-manager-support.aspx

You'll need to upgrade \ migrate to SCOM 2012 or SCOM 2012 Sp1.

  • Hi, unfortunately some conflicting information.

    1. http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=9296

"All management packs (MPs) included in this download are supported on System Center Operations Manager 2007 (SP1, R2)."

    2. From Guide

The Windows 2000 Server and the Windows Server 2003 management packs rely on the RTM (Release to Manufacturing) version of Operations Manager 2007, but the Windows Server 2008 Management Pack requires Operations Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) because the agent must be SP1 to run on a server running Windows Server 2008.

The Windows Server Library and the Windows Server 2012 management packs rely on both RTM of System Center 2012 - Operations Manager and Operations Manager 2007 R2 with the latest updates installed.

But only 2007 R2 MG and agent 2012 as minimum can monitor windows 2012 server (http://blogs.technet.com/b/momteam/archive/2012/09/05/windows-server-2012-system-center-operations-manager-support.aspx)
