  • Trying upgrading to Windows 10, getting error code linkID=528892, from Windows 7 IT pro.

  • Hi,

     

    Firstly, make sure that you have the correct system requirements and you have the correct Drivers for Windows 10 for your Model Number. The other important thing is the 32GB or larger drive requirement before upgrading.

     

    Disconnect all peripheral devices that are connected to the system, except for the mouse, keyboard and display. Update or uninstall the display driver.

     

    Besides, remove non-Microsoft antivirus software.
