Dll Pointer Gets Corrupted RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am calling a dll by passing a pointer filled with a list of parameters which also contains STL, (Vectors) that is used inside the DLL.

DLL function gets Void Pointer as input, and converts it to necessary pointer type inside the DLL.

Problem: When the pointer is passed inside the DLL function for the First time, the Function gets called properly and does what is required. But, when the same function is invoked for the second time, the pointer is getting corrupted.

Can any one recommend, the best way of calling a DLL?

Is using Void pointer inside DLL function and converting it inside the DLL the best practice of using DLL!

Good references and suggestions are appreciated.. Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

This forum is for questions about Microsoft Project, a project management scheduling product.  I'm afraid I can't make head nor tail of your post -- so not really sure where to direct you.  Likely the MSDN forums might be a good start:

    I hope this helps.
