How to rescale/ make an exact fit for the taskbars in the Gantt Chart? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using Microsoft Project 2007.

When I print a gantt chart with the Task names/durations etc colums on the left and a Gantt Chart on the right I have the following issue:

The Gantt Chart is displaying an empty space on the left with no task bars thereby leaving too little space for the actual tasks. It seems to be caused that the start date of the project used to be e.g Jan 2012 but when I later deleted the first tasks it did not rescale the Gantt chart. I tried everything but there I simply can't find the right button or menu to fix this problem.

Does any one recognize this problem and have a solution for me?

    Regards,

  • Hi,

By all means In the Print... form you can specify from and to which dates the print will extend.

Also, in Project menu, Project Information, you can seta new Project Start Date.
