Folder Permissions

    We have a file server on Windows Server 2008 R2. When we right click on folders to view the folder security. on the security tab logged into the server it says To continue you must be an administrator user with permission to view this object security properties. If I click on continue it show sme who has access to this folder then I can click on and everything is OK. but when I try to copy the folder it cant because I dont have permission but if I click on the folder iI get you don;t currently have permissions to access this folder- click contineu to permanetly get access to this folder, if I click continue the folder opens then I can copy it.


    So what causes this issue?
