Can't deploy site servers RRS feed

    I've been troubleshooting the deployment of DPs for the past week. I could be wrong; but I think I have it narrowed down to 1 key failure. Any help identifying this and fixing it is greatly appreciated.

    When creating a site system server (whether or not I actually include the DP role) I get the following error in the SMSProv.log:

    *~*~e:\nts_sccm_release\sms\siteserver\sdk_provider\smsprov\SspInterface.h(1198) : Error retrieving object FileType=2~*~*

    Examine  distmgr.log for more details. Are you able to identify any errors ?

    CDistributionManager::ConfigureDP failed; 0x80004005

    I wasn't seeing that error in the logs before (at least the couple of times I checked). The oddest part about all of this is that the ones I'm trying to deploy were once DPs. While troubleshooting distribution issues I removed the DP role (and eventually the site system role) from them and I haven't been able to add them back in. I've tried to deploy new DPs as well and have the same issues.

    I just hopped in and tried to deploy another one and didn't get that failure (though it isn't creating the folders on the DP and isn't listed as a DP under the Admin > Distribution Points section in the Config mgr console). I did, however, get a failure for PXE and I didn't choose to configure PXE for it. Below are all of the lines regarding that attempted deployment.
