How does Service Manager send email notifications through SMTP? RRS feed

  • Hi

    I have set up notifications as instructed on the blog, and i can send into service manager email and it logs a job, with the template and it works great.

    When i attempt to send a notificaiton out the Status shows as successful, in Workflow but i recieve no email.

    I have also dropped a text file into the pickup folder and it sends very quickly so i believe the routing and SMTP is set fine i just cannot work out where Service Manager drops the email or how it sends via SMTP?

    Ideas?

  • I also have the same problem. I setup the following:

     

    Administration

    - Notifications Channels

    - Notifications Subscriptions

    - Notifications Templates

    - Incident Event Workflow Configuration under "Workflows -> Configuration)

     

    After I create an incident ticket, I checked the Workflows Status and View the log status to be successful. However, I do not received any e-mail. I am using Lotus Notes Server, do I need to setup any connectors ?
