Multiple monitor layout reset on screen saver RRS feed

    Hi,

     

    I run Vista Ultimate SP1 on an Acer TravelMate 8215 with an external monitor connected via the VGA-interface. I usually set the layout of the monitors so that the external monitor is located above the laptop monitor. When the screen saver engages this layout seems to be reset to having the external monitor to the right of the laptop monitor. If I use the DVI-interface, it works as it should.

    This issue is related to ATI driver. If you still cannot resolve it, I think you'd better consult Acer for further help.

    Update the driver of the video card to the latest version. I think this should help.

    Hi,

     

    I already have the latest version of the drivers for ATI Mobility Readeon X1600 from Acer, no drivers are available from ATI for laptops-.
