  • Hello Every One.

    This is my first post, i am not good in English at all so please do ignore my grammar and spell mistakes.

    am an I.T administrator in a little office, i have very little business Environment,

    i need guidance to manage performance of windows 7 and windows 8, by disabling unusual services and programs, 

    windows should work more quickly as normal i have good computer machines.

  • Hi Kashif,

    So what's your problem? Did you have Windows Server and domain?

    If yes, you could disable some unavailable services and program via group policy or group policy preference.

    If no, you need to do it one by one.

    About which services and program is necessary or unnecessary, it depends on the your environment.

    Some application your used to work and it need some service to support. It's hard to figure out.

    I suggest you perform a clean boot. Clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup program. This is basic and clean for Windows.

    Yes i have Dc Server, all machines are client of domain,

    i dont have good command on group policy so i didn't take a look.

    please refer me a good guidance for group policy, where i can understand group policy and services

    very deeply and clearly.
