Outlook Integration Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I have got an issue. User is facing outlook integration error after its system got updated to Windows 10, before that it was working fine.

Following steps have been taken to resolve the issue:

-> We checked the client (office repair, new skype profile done) connectivity with all the other systems is ok, the user can access internet without any problem

    -> Cleared Lync cache

-> Checked msRTC attributes, proxy address in AD all are okay.

Could you please suggest how to proceed further.

  • Hi Komal Bachchani,

In order to narrow down the issue, please help us confirm the following questions:

1.What issue did you encounter, presence status or can’t view conversation history?
2.Would you please tell us did the issue only appear on the specific client ?

For this issue, please try the following steps:

    1. Please try to use another computer test if there is the same issue, also you could try to test if any other users had the same issue.
    2. If the issue only appeared on the specific computer, please try to perform a clean boot on your computer: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
    3. If you can’t see conversation history successfully, please press Ctrl and right click SFB icon in the taskbar, open configuration information. On the open page check if EWS status and MAPI status are OK.
    4. Last, I have seen some similar case about outlook integration error, the issue resolved by reinstalling SFB client and outlook client, if it is possible, please try it

Hope this reply is helpful to you.

    Regards,

    Alice Wang

  • Hi Alice,

I have checked , exchange settings are okay from server end.

    MAPI protocol enabled.

In configuration settings in Skype, MAPI and EWS are not connected.

  • Hi Komal Bachchani,

    Thanks for your response.

Is your SIP address different from the SMTP address?

Did you try to test with another computer, is that the same issue?

Please check if you deployed EWS successfully for SFB, here is a document for your reference

    Thank you for following up.

Everything from the server end was properly configued.

We reinstalled outlook and Skype client a few days ago and it worked fine.
