This problem seems to happen intermittently but almost everyday.I run windows 7 pro x64. I have a seagate backupdrive attached with seagates backup software running. Is that what is causing the problem?
Here is a copy of my crash dump file for info.

Hi Doccrow,
DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f)
A driver is causing an inconsistent power state.
Probably caused by : Unknown_Image ( ANALYSIS_INCONCLUSIVE )I suggest you update the BIOS and all hardware devices.
Unplug extra device, then check if the issue persists.
Regards,
Miya

Does my crash dump indicate that a USB backup drive caused the problem?
