Update for windows RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi friends.

    I have a question.

Wsus does not have all the updates that update online.

    This is a problem?

The wsus witch security and critical update is sufficient for a windows network.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi Parsoy,

Please help to check the WSUS server options to see if you have configured correctly:

Besides, some KB might not support installed via WSUS or SCCM.

so, the only way is using windows update to install.

    Best regards,

    Andy

  • WSUS does have the same updates as windows update online. WSUS is a repository for updates instead of downloading each update multiple times from Windows Update online, you download it once and then the computers check for updates from your WSUS Server. Only approved updates are downloaded by default, and only approved updates are 'presented' to your clients as available updates.

  • Hi,

    >>Wsus does not have all the updates that update online.

If WSUS is syncing from MU (there is no USS), verify that the update has not been Expired; otherwise it means that the update is no longer available. To verify that the update exists, search for it in the Microsoft Update Catalog.

  • Hi friend

    Thanks for reply.

The question and that even approving all the update online has kb that wsus does not have.

    This is my question.

  • I know you're trying to ask in English, but the translation is getting missed. Can you ask it in a different way? Maybe even adding your question in your native language so that we can google translate it?

    Maybe also use specifics?
