ExchangeServerAutodiscovery not working on Skype4Business Client based on ANDROID Phone RRS feed

  • Question

  • you'll have to fill in the Exchange server's FQDN to get it to work, as it seems that the APP can't resolve a SRV-Record correctly !

in the past the same problem occured on WINDOWS-Phones, but it seems that on this OS platform the bug has been fixed in some earlier version but is still open on ANDROID ;-(

  • Hi,

Inyour environment, did the issue only happen for Android client?

If Exchange sip domain not match the SMTP domain, then a SRV record should be added.

In your case, if you have added SRV record to point to the autodiscover A record but still not work, it could be the issue of the client itself. Please check if Skype for Business client update to the latest version or not.

    Best Regards

  • Hi,

I don't hear there is any related known about Android phone.

The best way is to contact Microsoft and there are more SFB experts will confirm it. Thanks for your understanding.

    Best Regards
