Exchange 2016 - Outlook 2016 - 550 5.1.0 RESOLVER.ADR.InvalidInSmtp RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have issue when sending email to some addresses. Server respond with:

Remote Server returned '550 5.1.0 RESOLVER.ADR.InvalidInSmtp; encapsulated INVALID address inside an SMTP address (IMCEAINVALID-)'

My enviroment: Exchange 2016, Outlook 2016

I have already researched something and came to this post.

I have emptied the address cache as described. Furthermore, I also disabled the cache. All that has not helped.

The process: The user creates an offer from our ERP. This is then passed to Outlook (I guess about a mailto link). The user then saves this mail as a draft. If he now checked and send it, the mail comes back with the error message.

I also noticed that the email address is supplemented with our local domain.
