Is it possible to do this in Sharepoint... RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm new to Sharepoint but have a project that I'm wondering if it could be completed using Sharepoint.

Currently I have a spreadsheet, it has a list of over 200 customers with around the same amount of columns for different products. In each column for each customer it is marked if the customer has the product or not.

I'd like to display this in Sharepoint but in a way where I could click on an individual customer and it would open them up, on a new page maybe, display the products that they have in one element, and then the list they don't have. Go back, and the whole list of customers is there again.

Is it possible to do something like with Sharepoint. And if so, would anyone be kind enough to point me in the direction of how I can achieve this, if there are real world examples maybe, or just yeah - in the right direction for me to program this.

Because I'm new with Sharepoint, I'm not 100% sure on its capabilities and limits.

    Thanks in advance!
