Exchange server stopped working RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I run into some problems with IIS7 sow I reinstalled IIS7 and now my exchange server isn't working any more.

My server looks like this: Windows 2008 server R2, Exchange server 2010.

When I start the exchange management console it says:

The following error occurred when searching for on-premises exchange server

connect to remote server failed with error message: the winrm client sent a request to an http server and got a response saying the requested http url was not available. This is usually returned by http server that does not support the ws-management protocol. for more information, see the about_remote_troublshooting Help topic. It was running the command "discover-exchangeserver -uaswia $treu -suppresserror $treu".

Also I can't start the power shell of exchange, same error. I've already reinstalled winRM IIS Extension but that didn't work.

Does anyone know how to solve this isseu?

    Tanks in advance.

  • Nope, the command setup /m:recoverserver didn't work. It says: Exchange Server setup encountered an error

I will restore the server tonight..

    Thx for the help
