Lync Call to Avaya, coverage to voicemail RRS feed

  • We have a Lync 2013 going using AES to a CM 5.2. Everything is working great, but when someone initiates an internal call in Lync and it goes to voicemail (user has a coverage path that goes to the VM hunt group). When the Avaya CMM picks up it says "Nothing to approve" and then it beeps and you can leave a message, the persons greeting is not played. I need the persons greeting to play. Any help is appreciated.  It looks like Lync is sending an extra #, in the call log it says "Connected to last, First (0#)".  Any help is appreciated.

  • Hi,

    The issue is more related to Avaya CMM settings as the call can reach AE server. You can try to check the dial plan settings in AE services.

  • So after more research in the snooper I can see the 0# being added.  Not sure how to make it not do that.

  • Is there a way to use Company_Phone_Number_Normalization_Rules.txt to change the 0# in the above snooper log to be just a 0?
