Vista Business Compatible PCMCIA Dial up Modems RRS feed

  • I just bought a Fujitsu-Siemens P Series Lifebook P7230 - with Windows Vista Business. The problem is that it didnt have a dial up modem, and when ever I put in any PCMCIA dialup modem cards, either it crashes or dosent have the drivers for it. So please tell me which PCMCIA dialup modem cards Windows Vista Business Supports and il buy it, as Iam in desperate need! (try doing anything witout internet and specially with VISTA! - u cant even get the patches and upgrades!!!!)

    To find devices compatible with Windows Vista, you may check Windows Vista Hardware Compatibility List (HCL):

    Please select Networking in Device category, then choose the modem type you want. If you are not clear with the description of compatibility information, the help document may help you:

    http://winqual.microsoft.com/HCL/Help.aspx

     

    For your reference, please also check the models of modems you’ve already owned by Search in HCL. If HCL shows them compatible, the problem may be caused by other factors rather than incompatibility.
