Virtual Wi-fi miniport adaptor 'not working properly' RRS feed

  • Question

  • Do I need this adaptor? I've been trying to set up a wireless printer and I think this is what is getting in my way.  The printer software will not fully download, laptop can not find the printer, etc. I think it is this adapter.  I've read some other answers related to the 31 error (which is what I got) but I really don't understand the solution. There is no updated version, either.  I have an Atheros Wireless network adapter. Is that good enough ?
