Exchange 2007 SP3 - CCR - Mailbox Moves

I have a number of mailboxes that I need to move from one database to another. I want to get an idea on the amount of transactions logs that will be generated during the move. From what I can tell, all the logs are generated on the database that the mailboxes are boing move to.

It is a CCR cluster. So, circular logging is not an option.

Is there any documentation that says, if you move a 2GB mailbox from database 1 to database 2, X amount of logs will be generated?

You can enable circular logging with CCR:

Just make sure you disable it when done so that backups can resume.

The logs will be generated on the destination storage group, yes. If the mailbox is 2GB, I would factor for 2GB worth of logs
