Process ID which consumes more CPU usage RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

My customer wants to get the details of the process (ID) whenever it hits to High CPU utilization. In this high CPU monitor it's now describing the % of CPU usage. If we get the Process ID details on the same wull be more useful in the troubleshooting. I am sure that other customers will also agree this point. Please guide, if there are any articles or solution for this query..

    Thanks in Advance,

    Fidelis

  • Hi,

    Thank you for your post.

You could just add Process ID in Windows Task Manager--Processes tab--View menu--Select columns--PID.
Furthermore, Resource Monitor and Process Explorer also could show both CPU usage and Process ID.

If there are more inquiries on this issue, please feel free to let us know.
