  • Question

  • The remote desktop server manager is reporting duplicate users logged on.  1 regular and 1 with a *."DomainName" at the end. This seems to be causing slowness and problems with the users.

  • Hello, I am having the same problem, but it comes and goes.  Sometimes, just one listing at RDP01, but when they are reporting running slow problems, I see RDP01 and RDP01.mydomain.local .   What do you mean by check both hostname and ip?  There is one entry in DNS.  Pinging either name results in the same IP.  If I disconnect one of the listings, the other disconnects two.    What else can I check, its like a ghost.  Here then gone, then back again.
    -Edit-
When I click to display "Remote Desktop Services Manager, I see the dual listings.
If I change to RDP01, the only server in the tree, I only see one listing.

On other 2008R2 remote desktop servers, I only see one user listed in either area.
