  • We are a college and we run ff on all servers and pc's. running 2003 server software on our servers. through out the college. we have a problam on 4 of our servers. there is an error on the antimalware service saying stopping but it will not stop. after re-starting the servers last night the service appeared to be running, then half way through a scan this morning the error returned.after restarting the server last night we ran a ff update which appeared to run fine,and are now running client version 1.5.1996.0 engine version1.1.6702.0, the version definitions 1.1.531.0 that was updated at 3am this morning. how can we stop the service and does anyone know what the prblam is?

    Thanks for the post.

    First of all, we need to collect MPSreport on one of the problematic servers.

    Please collect the MPSReport.

    1. Download proper MPS Report tool from the website below.

    Microsoft Product Support Reports

    2. Double-click to run it, if requirement is not met, please follow the wizard to download and install them. After that, click Next, when the "Select the diagnostics you want to run" page appears, select "General", “Internet and Networking”, “Business Networks”, “Server Components”, click Next.

    3. After collecting all log files, choose "Save the results", choose a folder to save <Computername>MPSReports.cab file.
