Network Policy - Condition RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

In NPS Server, under policies we have "Network Policies" and in that we are adding groups in "conditions" but there are few categories in the groups. One is "Windows groups" and another one is "user groups". What is the main difference between these two groups.

  • Hi,

    Windows groups:

Specifies that the connecting user or computer must belong to one of the specified groups.

    Machine Groups:

Specifies that the connecting computer must belong to one of the specified groups.

    User Groups:

Specifies that the connecting user must belong to one of the specified groups.

Windows groups contain user groups and machine groups.
