ExMon query RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

I'm looking at ExMon for Exchange 2007 and I had a question that I can't figure out. According to various forums, ExMon by default collects data in one-minute intervals. Does this mean the data that I see is refreshed every minute, or is the data I see cumalative since I started that session of ExMon but it keeps being added to every minute?

  • Yes, based on time interval data gets refreshed, you can save the old data though or run the trace little longer....Please see the link for detailed information.

  • Hi,

Collecting data directly with ExMon is the simplest method for short-term data collection. ExMon collects data in user-configurable intervals and displays that data after collection. Collecting data directly with ExMon is most useful for quick spot checks of a server, not for large-scale or long-interval data collection. For large-scale or long-interval data collection, use the data collection methods.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks
