I have a new system with no OS loaded. I have Windows 7 Pro with both 32bit and 64bit disks but only one product key. I want to install Win 7 as dual boot using both versions. - (my Office Home and Student 2007 is 32bit - the rest of my software runs under 64bit)
(1) Is this possible
(2) How do I make it happen?
1) Yes
2) You will need to buy 2 FULL versions of Windows 7 (not the upgrade version).
-Then partition the hard drive into two partitions and install 32bit on one partition, 64bit on the other.
You can not install Windows 7 twice with the same key. You can not install the Upgrade version on a blank hard drive in a system you just built with no OS.
