SCSM 2012 - SQL Query to remove corrupt Request Offering RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Is anybody able to provide the SQL query to remove a request offering directly from the Service Manager DB?

We are unable to remove it via the SCSM console or using the Remove-SCSMRequestOffering PS cmdlet. The managementpack which contained this offering has already been removed.

I know the risk of removing direct from the DB, however this is within our DEV environment and can restore if required.

    Thanks for your time,

    Tom.

  • Hello,

As the management pack has been removed, do you still see the request offering in the console?

Here is the SQL query to list all request offering:

    SELECT  [BaseManagedEntityId]

          ,[DisplayName]

      FROM [ServiceManager].[dbo].[MT_System$RequestOffering]

As we know, directly change the database is not supported, so it is suggested to contact the MS support if you want to change the database.

In addition, here is a similar thread for your reference:

  • Thanks for the reply, the management pack has been removed but we can still see the request offering in the console.

I thought that might be the suggestion, but wanted to ask in case somebody posted the query and all responsibility for bricking it would be with us. Never mind, as only DEV its not really worth raising a MS support ticket.

    Thanks again, Tom.
