  • Hi MicMikey,

Does this happen on every website you visit? On every link you click?

It depends on the security settings for the website you are visiting. Tools>Internet Options>Security tab, click "Reset all zones to default".

You can use the File>Properties menu to determine which IE security zone a site maps to.

It also depends on what type of file you are trying to open/download from the link you are clicking and what Addons/Plugins you have installed. eg. PDF files require a Plugin (aka ActiveX control) to open in IE. So if you have turned on ActiveX filtering for the site you are visiting and you have the Adobe PDF reader installed, then links to PDF documents won't work.

Please include links to any websites you are having problems with your questions.

    Regards.
