in our company we're are having a strange problem. The internet connection keeps always on disconnecting and the ping to outside is very high. However if i disconnect the Exchange server from the Network, then everything go back to normal but when i bring
back the server the ping goes up again. I searched if it was a firewall problem or the modem but then i noticed that exchange is causing this problem. Does anyone have a idea maybe ?
If you stop (freeze) the SMTP queue on the Exchange server does this also return your Internet connection to normal? Is there a possibility that your users could be sending or receiving very large emails which are causing the connection to be saturated
with SMTP traffic?
Cheers, Steve

i made just what you did, the connection went back to normal, then i saw that in the queue there was like 30 times the same email in the with always 8mb attachment. I cleaned the queue and now it seems to work well again.
