After transfering incoming call no audio to external caller RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a standard edition Lync 2010 Server (Mediation enabled), 2 Ferrari Gateways and Polycom Phones. Sometimes we have a strange problem. An incoming call will be transferd to one employee. After he pick up the call he can hear the caller, but the external calller can't hear our employee. In the SIP Trace i can't find any problem. On the gateway side we can see requests to enable Comfort Noise

Maybe someone can help me or give me a hint what i can do

    Best Regards

  • It looks like a configuration problem the ferrari gateway and the mediation server or Lync client.

To check a complete trace is necessary. I think the quickest way to solve this issue is to contact the Ferrari-Electronic support.

  • Check the required ports are not blocked.

For the details about port requirement, see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398833(v=ocs.14).aspx
