BSOD Windows 8 (Root cause found: Unknown Bugcheck: Bugcheck 3b. Parameters = 0xc0000005, 0x0, 0xffffd00025fcc760, 0x0.) RRS feed

  • Question

  • This should lead to a OneDrive account with a ZIP file with the dmp log files in it: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=971FB807A1B48809%21177

    Additional Information:

I've received the BSOD numerous times in the past on my laptop, which is only 2-3 years old. Usually, I refresh or restore my computer with success, but this time Restoring the computer to a recent save point has not worked. I ran the computer in safe mode to check SrtTrail files, which is where I found "Root cause found: Unknown Bugcheck: Bugcheck 3b. Parameters = 0xc0000005, 0x0, 0xffffd00025fcc760, 0x0."

If someone could examine those and tell me what problem I have with my computer, that would be great.

The crash is being caused by your oculus display driver.Check for a newer version, and if none is available,  Uninstall and reinstall it. If that does not stop the crashing, try an older version.
