    Hi, 

    As per the following article, we have a mix of Office 2010 Home and Business and Office 2010 Pro Plus. The users have Exchange Online Plan 1. 

    Should the in-place archive be visible in Outlook 2010 if we have the latest service packs installed?

    Hi,

    As per the article, if you are using the retail licensing version of Office 2010 except Office Standard 2010, in-place archive is available for you in Outlook. If you are using the volume licensing version of Office 2010, only Outlook 2010 stand-alone and Outlook 2010 included with Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 are supported.

    Hi Steve, 

    We're using the retail version that came with the PCs, plus there are some machines that are using Pro Plus 2010, but it's still not working. 

    Any other things that we can check? The OS has been upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, just in case that makes a difference.

    Thank you for the update.

    Can users access online archive mailbox from within OWA?

    Where are your mailboxes hosted? If you are using a hybrid environment and your mailboxes are hosed on premise, the in-place archiving feature may not be available.
