    Hi all-

    I am looking for information on the underlying mechanism that SCOM uses to collect information from OCS R2 (specifically the Monitoring server). This information is required for our internl AT&T monitoring solution. I have posted this request on the MSFT TAP site also.

    Is there an architecture whitepaper available for this functionality? Is SCOM using SQL calls, sntp gets? wmi? a combination of all three?

    Any information that you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
