Public folder access for SMTP account RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a group of users that had a single user account and Exchange account. At some point our Sys admin changed their Windows account log on name and created an SMTP mailbox to coincide with that change. They now log on to Windows with their new accounts and use their new email address. The new email address is in a new storage group in exchange and has a different domain name all together. When I create a public folder within Exchange they are all unable to see it with the new accounts and the old accounts when they try through Outlook. Does this seem like it needs to be put on its own public folder DB? We currently only have one Public Folder Database that their previous accounts were associated with but none for the new domain storage group.
