MOSS 2007 – Only site Administrator can edit page RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have problem, that user which belongs to group which has full control cannot edit page.

Under site action Edit is missing, not greyed out.  It look like missing permission.

If i open Group -> Settings-> View group permission =>  group has full Control for site.

  • I change "document library" permission directly.  So I Add user, and give him appropriate permission. If I chose any define group. All groups has [no Access]. So when I choose from drop down menu group was market SharePoint Contributor [No Access] ?

  • Is the page in published or draft mode... it could be that the page is exclusively checked out to someone else ... please check for that

  • If i logon as site administrator, under site action,  show edit toolbar. There is  nothing showing that page is lock for edit, or check out.

How can I correctly see who has exclusively lock site.
