    hi, I have two servers with Win2k8 Ent Hyper-V and Cluster roles connected to DAS storage. One server has connected by SAS DELL PV-124T autoloader.
    I would like to use DPM for backing up my environment but I have problem:
    - I cannot install DPM on Hyper-V host because according to DPM requirements it cannot be installed on server with cluster service
    - I cannot install DPM on Hyper-V guest virtual machine because I'm not able to access autoloader connected by SAS (from guest machine)

    What could I do to make my enviroment really secure?

    Hi,

    The only two solutions I see are:

    A) You need another dedicated server for DPM and then move the SAS Dell PV-124T autoloader to that new machine.

    B) You do away with the cluster and live with two standalone Hyper-V servers, then make the server with the PV-124T autoloader the DPM server.
