Blinking Start up Screen RRS feed

  • Question

  • After initial installation the start up menu does not catch up to the applications and appears to blink every second or two.  At this point, can't even initiate a program.  I'm concerned I'll have to do a reinstall and this is the free demo. Any suggestions?

  • Boot into safe mode (win key +"R")>msconfig>boot tab>safe mode>minimal>ok>restart

Uninstall your Graphic driver  (right click start menu>device manager>display driver>uninstall

Restart in normal mode  (go into msconfig and uncheck "safe mode")

  • Hi KyleP73,

    What is your current situation?

Team Zigzag suspect that the issue should be caused by your video driver.

So we may try to uninstall it to check the issue out, or we may contact the manufacturer for further assistance to see if any driver udpates.

Besides, there is another thing that we should pay attention to, create a new user account to check this out.

Sometimes the first profile won't load properly.

By the way, run the following command:

    Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    Regards
