Missed Call Notifications being generated from user's own ext RRS feed

    We are running Lync 2010 and Exchange 2010.

    Users are occasionally receiving messages that they had missed calls from their own ext in the middle of the night.  UM shows the missed call in the logs and Lync shows that a call was placed from the user's internal ext to the same user's internal ext in the reporting.  Lync is showing the calls are coming from the mediation servers to the UM servers, which I would expect as normal behavior for a caller trying to leave a message.

    Again, the calls are being placed in the middle of the night after the users have left for the night, and it is happening to multiple users.

    I have not found any errors in the event logs on the Lync or UM servers.

    Has anyone else seen this issue or anything similar?

    That is wired. Can you find similarities between users?

    Have you installed the latest update for Lync Server 2010 and latest edition of Lync 2010? If not, try to install it.

    There do not seem to be any similarities in the users, it's completely random.

    We are on the most current version of Lync 2010, we just installed the latest CU last month.

    We have been having this problem for quite a while now, it just seems it is being noticed more since we are beginning to migrate more users to Lync.
