Team call as alternative for response group RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Team,

I have question, i already configure cloud PBX E5 with PSTN connectivity,

but I don't use On Premise server as public DNS, so user will login trough cloud.

I have issue if I want to apply response group, because response group is on for on premise.

My Question is, can I use team call or delegate call as alternative for response group ?

    can you describe the difference?

    thanks all

  • If you want to use team call or delegate calling instead of a response group, this is workable just not as sophisticated.  With response groups, you can have business hours and overflows, and different queue timeouts and complex groups.  Team calling and delegate calling just ring everyone at once.

The difference between team calling and delegate calling is that delegate calling also allows the delegate to make outbound calls on the source user's behalf.... actually there's a write-up here that's decent: https://webapps.spcollege.edu/helpdesk/lync/media/delegatevsteamcall.pdf

  • Hi Ichwan Lubis,

    Agree with Anthony.

As a supplement, you could try to use call queue function. Skype for Business Online Cloud PBX Call Queues include greetings that are used when someone calls into a phone number for your organization, the ability to automatically put the calls on hold and search for the next available call agent to handle the call while the people who call are listening to music on hold. You can create a single or multiple call queues for your organization.
