Windows Media Center Blue Screen Crash RRS feed

  • Followed all other suggestions/instructions to correct the issue- Only problem recorded is the System Restore Error unspecified (0x8000fff) This is the 2nd of this model computer Ive had a Media Center Issue with.  Now what can fix this problem?

    Acer Aspire 5750 - Windows 7 Home Premium - 64 bit - 4gb DDR3 Memory - Intel HD Graphics3000 1760 MB Dynamic Video Memory - eVGA InDTube Digital TV Tuner - using windows codecs and current drivers

    Please use Microsoft Skydrive to upload C:\Windows\Minidump\100511-21964-01.dmp dump file. Once done, post a link here.

    You can also contact Microsoft CSS.

    Please run memtest86+ to check that all is okay with your RAM. If an error was detected then replace the faulty RAM or contact your manufacturer Technical Support.

  • after running  memtest and all other cks & tests, calledwm acer to troubleshoot.  They had not hearrd of this bluescreen crash and had me do a complete restore to out of box condition at which point there was a hardware error and now system is complety crashed. I am waiting for a os disc from the company and will see if that will work, if not they will be sending me a new hdd...???so I am writing this replyy from my phone errors and all cannot edit :( I will let you know the outcome.
